I Heart My Husband Too!
I found this idea on Pinterest. I think it is cute.
Once done, I cut the wood planks down to 10" height. Next, I stained the wood a walnut stain using a water soluable stain. It dries super fast. Which I like. I then painted our initials and heart. I created the "&" symbol using my Cricut.
Using these same wood planks I created another craft that I will share in the next post.
This original idea was created using scrapbook paper decoupaged onto an artist canvas.
I prefer the real thing, so decided to duplicate it using planks of wood.
Using 2" x 2", 2" x 3", and a 2" x 4", I wood glue the sides of them all together. We clamped them and let the glue dry for 24 hours.
