Ruler of Rulers, King of Kings, Lord of Lords

A friend of mine inspired me. Her and her lovely daughters made ornaments with the different names of Christ for their tree this year. I did learn from her and chose not to use glitter. I decided we will make some through out the season. Today, was day 1. I got this idea from Pinterest. The author of the blog from what I understand did not know where the original idea came from. But out of courtesies, my idea started here: http://apositivelybeautifulblog.tumblr.com/post/37175657033. I had the kids choose a name they'd like to use and we lined the scrabble tiles onto a yard stick. Which was handy when cutting it down into pieces. They then painted or stained their 'rulers'.

We then used wood glue to glue the Scrabble tiles onto the ruler.

I simply drilled a hole and put ribbong through their's. I made a few and chose to use bakers twine. And we have a nice finished project, with no glitter involved. Hope to post more ideas as we go.
